This guide will walk you through solving the Puzzle Door in the Central Hall. This door is located to the right of the large door on the bottom level. In order to open it, players will need to put the correct symbols on each of the two question mark panels in the area. The player can cast Revelio to make the panels glow blue.

From the puzzle door, turn around and head up the stairsTake an immediate left, and up those stairs is the double question mark panelThe other panel is on the landing directly above the puzzle door
First turn around and head up the stairs behind you, then take an immediate left and go up that set of stairs. You will find the double question mark panel on the wall ahead. Select the panel until the image of the three-headed snake appears; this is the correct symbol for this panel. Then go back down the stairs to the puzzle door. Directly to the left of the puzzle door is the single question mark panel; this panel’s correct symbol is the spider.

Explanation
For the Central Hall’s puzzle door, shown below, we can see that the top triangle for the single question mark panel was 11+ 2 (graphorn head) + ? 8 (spider) = 21. And the bottom triangle was crab (5) + hydra (9) + ?? three-headed snake (3) = 17
