Troll Control – Hogwarts Legacy Quest

Troll Control is an optional quest in Hogwarts Legacy. Alexandra Ricketts made an attempt to train a troll in order to give Brocburrow a bit of extra security against Ranrok and his loyalists. Unfortunately, the plan didn’t work and he almost trampled half the hamlet. She knows she need to take him down now, but she is not powerful enough to do so. That’s where you come in.

To start the quest Troll Patrol, you need to talk to Alexandra Ricketts. If you have never been to Brocburrow, take the Central Hogwarts Valley or Lower Hogsfield Floo Flame, and fly straight east until you reach it. She will be directly north of the Brocburrow Floo Flame.

Talking with her (with playstation square button/button xbox x v2) will begin Troll Control, where she will tell you her concern — a troll that she tried to tame has gone off on a rampage, and she is not strong enough to put him down. You volunteer to do it instead.

To find the troll, get on your broom and fly south until you reach his den — it will be a big open area surrounded by trees, and the troll will be patrolling the area. Once you reach the area, you will have to fight Alexandra’s Troll and defeat him.

The troll is level 23, will have more health, and will be stronger than the average troll. Because of the damage he can deal, be extra careful to block and dodge his attacks, and stun him when you can with your Ancient Magic Throw. Alexander’s Troll is otherwise pretty much the same as any other troll you’ve fought, including the one in Hogsmeade during the main story. Use your best spells and combos on him, and he will eventually go down.

Once the troll is taken care of, return to Alexandra, who will be in the same spot as when you started the quest. Talk to her to give her the good news. You can then choose a troll-themed title for yourself.

After speaking with her, you will have completed Troll Control, and have a new hat to try on!

I'm a huge gamer who especially loves the Final Fantasy series. I will play just about any game, especially if it has anything resembling a Dragoon.
