Hogwarts Legacy PC Patch Notes 2/24/23 – Bug Fixes & Optimization

Hogwarts Legacy released a new patch today for the PC version of the game, featuring several bug fixes. This includes fixes for a number of crashes, an issue with the Owl Mail not probably triggering missions, and a horrifying issue with flickering occurrences that would cause a head to become transparent. Apparently it wasn’t just a Disillusionment charm gone wrong!

The patch also added several performance and stability updates. This includes optimizing shaders and improving fidelity mode. Finally, there is a note at the end of the post, stating that DirectX Version 12 is required to play Hogwarts Legacy on PC. Any workarounds to get the game to run on DirectX Version 11 are apparently inadvisable. You can check out the full patch notes below.

I'm a huge gamer who especially loves the Final Fantasy series. I will play just about any game, especially if it has anything resembling a Dragoon.
