2nd Chance For Hogwarts Legacy Merlin’s Cloak Twitch Drop This Friday

A lot of Hogwarts Legacy players were bummed to have missed out on the Merlin’s Cloak Twitch Drop, which was initially only available on the game’s launch days. If you missed both streams, with one being only an hour and one a slightly more respectable three, that was it — no cloak! Perhaps realizing their mistake, community manger Chandler Wood announced on February 10th that there would be another opportunity to receive the drop. Thanks to a tweet from today, we now know exactly when you’ll be getting another chance at Merlin’s Cloak.

It’s not enough to know the new date, however — you also need to make sure you’ve followed all the requisite steps to unlock the drop:

1. Sign up for a free Warner Bros. Games Account
2. Connect your Twitch Account to your Warner Bros Games account
3. Watch the stream at twitch.tv/avalanchesoftware on February 24th, 2pm PST, 5pm EST (10pm UTC)
4. Check your Twitch Inventory to claim your reward
5. Redeem your rewards by clicking each tier on the Hogwarts Legacy Twitch Drops page
6. Go into the game and enjoy your new cloak!

Surprisingly, the upcoming stream goes live when most people on the west coast of the United States will be at work or in school (and when lots of people in Europe and Asia will be asleep). Hopefully it runs long, otherwise they are going to end up with a lot more disappointed fans on their hands.
