Gotham Knights Case FR01: Mr. Freeze

This Villain Case will have you facing off against one of Batman’s premier baddies, Mr. Freeze, in order to prevent him from making Gotham as cold as his heart (or, more accurately, to prevent him from using his doomsday devices to usher in a new ice age).

How to Unlock the Mr. Freeze Case File

This case will not automatically appear in your Case Files tab as “FR01,” and so it can be a bit confusing how you begin this side content. After playing the main story until you complete Mission 1.4 – Blackgate Blues, a new case file marked “?.? – Heist at S.T.A.R. Labs” will appear. This is actually Mr. Freeze’s first mission, as revealed during the mission itself. And so, to begin chasing down Mr. Freeze, all you need to do is head to the orange building marker along the southwest coast of Gotham, which marks S.T.A.R. Labs. After you complete the mission there (which is actually Mission 1.1 of the case), the Case File and first mission will change to reflect Mr. Freeze’s involvement.
