Weeping Peninsula Boss Guides – Elden Ring

The Weeping Peninsula, a land of misty shores and crumbling ruins, offers new challenges for Tarnished adventurers in Elden Ring. Its bosses range from roaming threats to hidden terrors lurking in forgotten dungeons, each requiring careful strategy to defeat. Below, you can find the full list of bosses in the region, and the strategies to defeat them. If you’re looking for a complete walkthrough of Weeping Peninsula, head here.

The Erdtree Tree Watchdog is the boss at the end of the Impaler’s Catacombs, it quite a lot tougher than the other one you faced back in Limgrave’s Stormfoot Catacombs thanks to the help it gets from other imps in the room. Not only do you need to contend with the Watchdog’s mechanical moveset, then, you also need to make sure you aren’t interrupted or killed by its minions, making for a surprisingly tough fight.

As for strategy: the boss itself is slow, but the attacks that it can do have harsh delays and come out fast. Take advantage of its slow speed and telegraphed attacks in order to separate the imps from it and take them out. Once they are dead, the boss itself is much easier to take on. Otherwise, you can beat this Watchdog the same as usual, by carefully attacking during its very slow recovery after most attacks.

A returning (often nightmarish) enemy from Limgrave, this suped-up runebear shares the tricky moveset of the Limgrave variants, while also boasting more health than any of them. It can be a good chance to learn their tricky moves, and to vanquish an enemy that might’ve given you trouble elsewhere.

As far as strategy is concerned, there is one key to dealing with Runebears of any kind, and that is to stick as close as possible to the Runebear, and always rolling towards the Bear’s belly. Most of its moves are either out in front of it, or very well telegraphed, meaning being up close lets you more easily avoid attacks, while getting in enough damage to eventually finish it off.

The Scaly Misbegotten — one of several Misbegotten you will find throughout the Lands Between — is a more powerful version of the regular Misbegotten enemies that you can encounter throughout the Weeping Peninsula. Found at the end of the Morne Tunnel, this enemy also drops a fairly fun colossal weapon.

When it comes to strategy, there isn’t much. The Scaly Misbegotten staggers very easily, and repeated jumping attacks can make short work of it. Even if it manages to get an attack in, it is also so slow and with such a limited moveset that you shouldn’t have too much trouble avoid it.

The Cemetery Shade is a fast, elusive boss found at the end of Tombsward Catacombs in the Weeping Peninsula. Despite its quick attacks and teleportation abilities, it has low health and a notable weakness to holy damage, making it easier to dispatch with the right strategy.

Using spirit summons is key, as they distract the boss, allowing you to land heavy attacks or spells. Melee players should punish after its flurry attack, while ranged players can rely on summons to keep the boss occupied, minimizing the risk of sudden teleports and quick lunges.

he Ancient Hero of Zamor is an agile, frost-infused boss encountered in Evergaols and Hero’s Graves throughout the Lands Between. Its graceful, spinning attacks and frost abilities create a fast-paced battle, with Phase 2 ramping up its speed and aggression.

Success lies in staying close to the boss, rolling into its spins, and using heavy jumping attacks to break its stance quickly. Ranged strategies work best in Phase 1, but Phase 2 requires careful timing, with openings appearing after moves like Frost Breath and Frost Tempest.

Miranda the Blighted Bloom is an optional boss found in Tombsward Cave on the Weeping Peninsula. This poison-spreading flower-like enemy is relatively easy, especially if you’ve encountered similar foes in the open world. Its main threats are poison buildup and support from smaller adds, along with ranged Star Shower attacks.

Applying fire damage with Fire Grease, Fire Pots, or Wandering Noble Ashes interrupts its Poison Mist and Star Shower attacks. Melee players should clear adds quickly or position to hit both the boss and minions at once. Ranged players can safely cast spells after dealing with the adds, while Crimsonburst Crystal Tear and Neutralizing Boluses help manage poison buildup.

Deathbird is a recurring boss that only appears at night in various locations across the Lands Between. This skeletal creature relies on medium-range attacks, but struggles to punish players who stay close beneath it (except with one low-damage attack). Its vulnerability to holy damage makes Holy Water Pots especially effective for reducing the fight’s difficulty.

Melee players should stick between Deathbird’s legs, where most of its attacks can’t reach, and roll through its backward steps to maintain pressure. Ranged players can cast safely from horseback at maximum range or stay close like melee fighters, carefully timing spells to avoid sudden retaliations. Holy damage remains the key to an easier victory.

Leonine Misbegotten is a fierce, beast-like boss found at the back of Castle Morne, tied to Irina’s questline. If you’ve talked to her before, you can summon Edgar outside the boss room to make the fight significantly easier. The boss is highly susceptible to staggering, allowing for frequent critical hits and quick takedowns.

Summoning Edgar and Lone Wolf Ashes creates constant pressure, with both are also able to stagger the boss repeatedly. Melee players can punish openings after horizontal and jumping attacks, landing charged heavy strikes from behind for posture breaks. Ranged players should rely on summons to distract the boss while casting powerful spells from a safe distance.

There is also a night calvary mini-boss outside Castle Morne.
