First Trailer for Elden Ring DLC Shadow of the Erdtree Debuts Tomorrow

It’s finally happening. After teasing us once almost a year ago with the DLC’s name reveal, it’s been radio silence from FromSoft — but no longer. Tomorrow at 10am EST (1500 UTC), a 3-minute trailer for Shadow of the Erdtree will drop.

The more optimistic among us might hope that the DLC will drop soon. After all, Elden Ring released originally on February 25th 2022, so what better time to drop the long-awaited DLC than on the game’s 2-year anniversary? However, the latest rumors suggest the DLC is still being worked on, so we won’t hold our breath for a February release of Shadow of the Erdtree.

As of the time of writing, the premiere is a mere 14 hours away — lucky NA fans will get to sleep through much of the time between now and then. Fans not able to sleep can join the rest of the tarnished slowly going hollow while waiting; the YouTube stream chat for the upcoming trailer has been full of memes, joy, and lamentations of the long wait since the premiere was announced.
