The Wheel
Build Overview
This build, as you can guess from the title, uses the wheel of Elden Ring: Ghiza’s Wheel. This is secretly an insane Quality-based weapon with an optimal build. By insane, I mean broken damage that deletes bosses in seconds. You want to shred bosses – you should start here. The skill of Ghiza’s Wheel is very situational and can be easily interrupted – but the charged attacks can actually spin the wheel, hitting many times and also building up bleed insanely fast.
Stats
Vigor is a t 60 for survivability, mind at 20 for buffs, and 36 endurance for plenty of stamina. Strength is at 65 and dex is at 55, because we have a quality weapon along with the millicent prosthesis. Faith is at 25 for buffs. Focus on strength and dexterity for higher levels.
Weapons and Armor
We use the Ghiza’s Wheel +10 and the Jellyfish Shield for 12.5% more damage after using it’s skill. This is because we will not be using the skill of Ghiza’s Wheel, because it’s just bad. This does mean no Two-Handed Sword Talisman, but there are better talismans for this build anyway. You can use any weapon with seppuku, such as the Rapier, to proc the bleed buffs at the start of a fight. You can use any seal for buffs. Armor is three pieces of the Rakshasa set for +6% to all damage, and White Mask for 10% more damage for 20 seconds after a bleed proc.
Spells
We have enough faith for Golden Vow (+15% attack and +11% defense) and Flame Grant Me Strength (+20% physical damage, more stamina recovery, 30 seconds). As usual with physical builds, Bloodboil Aromatic will give slightly more damage for double the time, but if you don’t want to craft it or you like stamina recovery, feel free to use the spell instead for the body buff. Note that Flame Grant Me Strength is easy to reapply during a boss fight. You can also use Blessing’s Boon for health regen (counteracts Bloodsucking Tear.)
Talismans
Axe Talisman: Boosts charged attack damage by +10%.
Rotten Winged Sword Insignia: Boosts successive attack damage, up to 13%. Can be substituted for Winged Sword Insignia in Journey 1, which does the same but up to 10%.
Millicent’s Prosthesis: Stacks with the (Rotten) Winged Sword Insignia and goes up to 11%. Also gives +5 dexterity.
Lord of Blood’s Exultation: Boosts damage by 20% for 20 seconds after blood loss. Can be switched for any other Talisman of your choice, but this is the best one for damage overall.
Flask of Wondrous Physick
Bloodsucking Cracked Tear: +20% all damage, slight health drain. Can be substituted for the Spiked Cracked Tear, but this is slightly less powerful.
Thorny Cracked Tear: Boosts successive attacks, up to 20%. Can also be substituted by Spiked Cracked Tear.
Buff Routine
- Drink the Flask of Wondrous Physick. (180 seconds, + up to 40% damage).
- Use Golden Vow.
- Optional: (NOT IF USING FLAME GRANT ME STRENGTH) Use a Pickled Turtle Neck for more stamina regen.
- Use Body Buff (Bloodboil Aromatic, +30% physical damage, or Flame Grant Me Strength).
- Use the Jellyfish Shield.
- Refill FP.
- Enter, and immediately use Seppuku on off hand weapon to trigger the bleed buffs.
How To Use This Build
Basically, just use charged attacks – that’s it. The wheel will connect many times and with this setup, will delete almost all of the boss’s HP with just one charged attack combo. If you are surprised at the damage, you shouldn’t be. We’re talking a charged attack from a colossal weapon, successive attacks very fast getting higher and higher damage, and of course, a bleed proc. No wonder this is a shredder of a build.
