Build Overview
This is a str/arc build that optimizes dual gargoyle’s twinblades with seppuku to maximize insanely broken jump attacks that will just kill everything in seconds. If you want to just kill everything and have some of the best DPS in the game, you are in the right place.
Stats
As always, vigor is at 60 for survivability, and make sure you can survive at least two stabbings of yourself because that will be required for this build. Mind is at 20 because you barely need FP for this build, just for buffs. Endurance could go higher, because this build does consume plenty stamina, but you are fine where you are at. 55 strength because this weapon will scale great off strength even on occult affinity. You can go all the way up to 80 here. Dex is only enough for the weapon when combined with Millicent’s Prosthesis, so be careful with this if you don’t use the talisman. Int doesn’t matter, faith is at 25 to cast Golden Vow (and possibly Flame Grant me Strength) and Arcane is the most important, because the weapon is on occult affinity and this will increase the bleed buildup of the weapons.
Weapons and Armor
We use two gargoyle’s twinblades which will work optimally with the occult affinity to also increase the bleed, which we get from seppuku. You can use any seal you have to cast the spell buffs. For armor, three pieces of the rakshasa set boost our damage by 6%, and the white mask will give us +10% damage after proccing bleed and stacks with Lord of Blood’s exultation.
Spells
I used Golden Vow and Flame Grant me Strength for buffs. Flame Grant Me Strength is optional, as the better body buff for this build is Bloodboil Aromatic.
Talismans
The Lord of Blood’s Exultation: Gives 20% extra damge after a bleed proc and stacks with the White Mask.
Millicent’s Prosthesis: Boosts successive attacks, and adds +5 to dex.
Rotten Winged Sword Insignia: Boosts successive attacks.
Claw Talisman: Boosts jump attacks.
If you want to use another Talisman, it probably won’t be more optimal than this, but if you really want, don’t use the Millicent’s Prosthesis, but be sure to take 5 points of Strength or Arcane and put them into dex so that you can wield the Twinblades we use. If I had to pick another Talisman, it would be the Godskin Swaddling Cloth for passive Hp regen as you do successive attacks.
Buff Routine
- Drink the Flask of Wondrous Physick for around 40% extra damage for 180 seconds. Your health will start draining.
- Use Golden Vow for 15% extra attack power and 11% more defense for 60 seconds.
- Optional but reccommended for very high damage output: Consume a Sacred Bloody flesh. This is a body buff of 7% more damage – but we want a secret unique buff part that triggers when you proc bleed.
- Use Bloodboil Aromatic for 30% physical damge increase and 25% defense decrease for 60 seconds. This will also override the body buff part of Sacred Bloody Flesh. If you don’t want to craft Bloodboil Aromatic, you can use Flame, Grant Me Strength for 20% Physical and Fire damage increase, more stamina regen, and Fire defense for 30 seconds, but this is a lot worse.
- Two hand your left hand Gargoyle’s Twinblade and use Seppuku, then un-two hand it and use seppuku on your right hand Twinblade. This will proc the bleed buffs for around 30% extra damage for 20 seconds. If you used the Sacred Bloody Flesh, you will get an additional 18% damage for 20 seconds, so around 50% total.
- Refill Hp and Fp as needed, then enter the boss fight.
How To Use this Build
This build relies on the insanely broken dual twinblade jump attacks, which the Gargoyle’s Twinblade with seppuku excel at. Just spam jump attacks and you will deal crazy damage, and I mean getting to 30,000 damage in seconds. If you struggle to find openings or wish to stance-break easily, use cragblade on one of the Twinblades to do that. This is a very broken build that is also very fun!
