Bleed Greatsword Build

A Greatsword build focused on bleed and stun-locking using the Ash of War: Giant Hunt. Excellent for later NG+ runs, as it takes advantage of game mechanics that don’t scale with difficulty. You can also use this build in earlier playthroughs, though you’ll need to lower the stats significantly — it will still perform very well.

How to Use This Build

I recommend using this build mainly for boss fights. The playstyle revolves around stun-locking and breaking the stance of smaller bosses, while bleeding out the larger ones. Be prepared to trade hits and sometimes heal while the boss is stance-broken instead of going straight for a critical hit.

The build isn’t bad for normal gameplay and exploration either; however, I suggest using the Sacred Relic Sword instead, mainly because of its faster attack speed and a skill that knocks down smaller enemies.

If you’re looking for more raw damage, consider using the Starscourge Greatsword, as it scales slightly better with the upgraded stats of this build.
