Increase the efficiency of your alchemy by hiring someone to do it for you! This Githyanki will gladly take your ingredients and turn them into delicious potions, deadly bombs or deceptive poisons.
I chose the Githyianki hireling for the Astral Knowledge racial bonus, since it is another source for proficiencies. Another good option would be the Halfling hireling because of Halfling Luck, but I prefer using her as my Thief.
Levels 1 and 2 will be in Wizard, for the 
Experimental Alchemy feature of the 
Transmutation subclass. This will double her potion output when succeeding on a DC 15 
Medicine check. The rest of this build will ensure that this roll is almost always successful.
The next four levels, 3 – 6, will go into 
Bard. The subclass here does not really matter, but 
College of Lore is nice since it gives the character even more proficiencies. What you really want from this dip is the spell 
Enhance Ability, which will give advantage on all checks of a given ability. Since Medicine uses Wisdom, you will always want to choose Owls Wisdom. Bard also gives the character expertise in Medicine.
The rest of the levels do not really matter, since there is not a lot more that could improve the neccessary checks. For flavour reasons and because I like overdoing it, I went for four levels in Cleric in the 
Knowledge Domain. This gives the hireling the Knowledge of the Ages feature for another option of getting proficiencies.
For feats, I chose two ASIs and Lucky, which allows for a reroll of any die on a check.
