Adamantine Forge Moulds – Baldur’s Gate 3

If you want to use the Adamantine Forge, you’ll first need to have the moulds for the items you’re looking to craft. This guide will tell you how and where to find them. The guide is arranged in such a way that by the time you reach the Forge, you’ll have all of the moulds with you.

Keep in mind, however, that the moulds alone won’t do you any good without the ore to put into them. Our Mithral Ore guide will tell you where to find the ore you’ll need for crafting.

During our playthrough we were able to find the moulds for a longsword, shield, scimitar, splint armour, mace, and scale mail. Don’t hesitate to let us know if we missed anything there.

To get it, you’ll have to get up on the walkway running above the Grymforge. The easiest way to do it is to go up two flights of stairs past the cleared cave-in, then go down the Iron Ladder, jump to the walkway and pick up the Longsword Mould there.

Moving past the walkway to the eastern side of the Grymforge you’ll need to enter the Dormitory through the Double Iron Doors. There, you go straight ahead until you reach a skeleton lying by some rubble. Looting the skeleton will give you the Shield Mould.

Without entering the Double Iron Doors leading to the Dormitory, you should head straight south, jump a small gap once you reach the end of the path, then keep heading south. Once you reach a platform with a couple levers, there will be a skeleton holding the Scimitar Mould.

From the Scimitar Mould skeleton you can jump the gap to the southeast (preferably with a Feather Fall spell active). The Splint Mould is right there.

At this point you’re nearing the Forge proper. Go south from where you found the Splint Mould and just by the Underdark – Ancient Forge Waypoint, you’ll find the Mace Mould sitting on the table.

You can actually see the Scale Mail Mould when you’re picking up the Mace Mould. Only before you can grab it, you’ll have to fight a group of Animated Armours.
