Warden of Death

Necrox, the Warden of Death

Necrox was never meant to be redeemed.

He was forged to end things—lives, hopes, bloodlines. A Dark Urge Drow clad in oath and steel, shaped by violence so absolute that even sacred vows became obstacles. When his oath began to restrain the efficiency of death, he shattered it without hesitation.

That was not his fall.

That was his awakening.

As an Oathbreaker, Necrox commands unholy power without illusion or pretense. Death answers him honestly. As a necromancer, he studies it, refines it, and deploys it with clinical precision. Corpses rise not as mockery, but as tools—resources reclaimed from a world already soaked in loss. He does not deny what he is. He simply decides what it will be used for.

He is pragmatic to the core. Lives are numbers, futures are probabilities, and evil is a contagion that must be cut out—no matter how much blood stains the blade. When forced to choose between purity and survival, he chooses survival. When mercy threatens tomorrow, he denies it today.

Yet beneath the nightmare stands a will bent toward redemption—not through repentance, but through outcome. Necrox resists the Urge not by pretending it isn’t there, but by aiming it. Monsters die so innocents do not. Armies of the dead fight so the living can go home.

Among allies, he is unsettling but dependable. Among enemies, he is horror made method. Fear follows him like a cloak, and the dead rise in his wake not screaming—but obedient.

They call him Necrox the Warden of Death because he does not cosplay damnation.

He understands it.

He controls it.

And he uses it to ensure the future survives—no matter what it costs him.

He is not a hero.

He is the thing evil sends to kill other evil… and never sees coming.
