Okay i wanted to play around the idea of a bard dancing around the battlefield not being hit by anything and spreading chaos wherever it goes. I really wanted to paired it with an Arcane Trickster to truly give it role flavour.
You can pass any dexterity and charisma check in the game easy and make combat for the enemies really miserable.
For combat: always start the day throwing mage armor on yourself. Once the fight beggins, throw haste on yourself, then bladesong, that should put yourself at 27 AC (You can even bump it up by switching a couple of items). On top of that we have the cloak to give disadvantage on attacks that target us, and advantage on spells saving throws with the necklace. (if you don’t feel confortable with only having 10 Con, swap it with Int and swap a damage wizard spell for a utility one).
Once you are ready to dance around the battlefield safely is up to you how you spend your resources, but Band of the Charming scoundrel can works wonders with all the encantation and illusion spells you have in your arsenal. Make your enemies laugh and cry while you are spreading darkness and terror around the battlefield. Sneak attack them, then whisper his doom while you turn invisible and get even more evasive.
I added Lucky as a feat cause i think it fits perfectly on a build that constantly looks to screw the enemies more than being a powerfull damage dealer, but if you want to bump dexterity up to 20, or any other feat that you think it can fit, is not mandatory to have it.
