Potionmaster Hireling (lvl 7+)

Variant on a potionmaster hireling for parties that are already level 7+. Has 2 more skills than a traditional wizard-start potionmaster and 1 more than a bard-start, which I prefer as I use hirelings as camp casters and backup ability checkers- I don’t need combat utility at all.

I prefer a 6 wizard/5 bard/1 rogue split for improved bardic inspiration, access to the transmutation stone, and 2 additional expertise, but a 4 wizard/8 bard split to trade transmutation stone and expertise for the lucky feat and an additional bardic inspiration die is likely also reasonable. Either Glamour or Valour are my preferred bard colleges, for their party buffing capabilities. I’ve chosen Glamour for this build.

Skills are chosen to allow for the maximum utility of the Githyanki Astral Knowledge skill- ideally, it will only be used on intelligence or dexterity, depending on the task at hand. General stealth capability makes it easier to get the hireling where they’re needed in a pinch.

It is unclear to me whether various bonuses apply to automatic rolls. I’ll be testing this, but for this iteration of the build, I am assuming that all included bonuses apply.

Classes has a little red dot and idk why sorry ¯_(ツ)_/¯
