This Build is designed to be a true TANK with not only massive survivability but also the ability to protect allies with taunts while still being able to do significant damage.
The Core of this build is the Polar Bear Wildshape which you only gain access to from the Moon Druid Subclass. Every aspect of the build is designed to modify and improve the Polar Bear and every thing to be listed works while in Wildshape.
Armor of Agathys (AoA): Unfortunately AoA needs a single level in Sorcerer but at least it gives Proficiency in Constitution Saving Throws. Since this build is full caster levels AoA can be upcast to the 6th level to grant a staggering 30 bonus tHP which persists in Wildshape.
Arcane Ward: Arcane Ward is a passive feature from the Abjuraction Wizard Subclass this nets you reduced damage up to 2x your Wizard level, for this build we reach 10. What that means is the first instance of damage taken will be reduced by 10 damage (before resistance) while the second time you take damage it will be reduced by 9 damage then 8 damage ect. This can be refreshed by casting an Abjuration Spell and thankfully AoA is just that. Recasting AoA after your first Wildshape ends will grant you 25 tHP and 5 points to your Arcane Ward recharging it and then you still have your BA to go back into Wildshape.
Polar Bear: Polar Bear is a Wildshape form exclusive to the Moon Druid Subclass. When Wildshape you lose your Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution stats. They are completely removed and replaced by the form of your Wildshape. The Polar Bear gets 19/10/16 respectively and a base AC of 12, these stats are important to remember because they can actually be modified. There are 2 of 3 key items that can be used to modify the base stats specifically Strength to do more damage. The Feat Resiliant: Strength and Aunties Hair can increase your Strength by 1 bringing it to 20 (chose one or the other) and the Potion of Everlasting Vigor can be used to then bring it to 22 Strength offering even more damage. The main reasons to choose the Polar Bear are firstly its high HP pool and early access but most importantly its unique attack Goading Roar. This attack is activating massive AOE Taunt that can force a large group of enemies to attack you, the Tank, instead of your allys.
Feats and Features: As listed above the Feat Resiliant: Strength increases the Wildshapes Strength to 20 (you also gain proficiency in Strength Saving Throws) which is a break point for additional hit chance and damage but there is another Feat that works for your damage. Tavern Brawler doubles the Strength Mod for hit chance and damage even if Wildshaped. This means at full build you are get +12 to hit chance and to damage. If you choose Aunties Hair instead of Resiliant Strength you can take ASI for 2 levels in Wisdom to increase the effectiveness of Goading Roar. The starting class being Sorcerer actually has a hidden feature that also works in Wildshape, Draconic Resilience. If you have no armor on your Base AC will be set to 13 instead of 10. This feature works if you have no armor on before Wildshaping, this will modify your Polar Bear to have 13 AC instead of 12 AC.
Spell Scribing: This is a feature of the Wizard Class that allows you to learn any spell from a scroll. Thanks to this feature you can learn 4th, 5th, and even 6th level spells even tho neither of your classes are able to learn high levels spells thanks to being 6/5 split. The most important spell to learn is going to be Fire Shield tho there are some other spells that have good utility that you should look out for.
Retaliation Damage: This is how the Tank will be doing its damage most turns instead of just relying on melee attacks. Unfortunately Goading Roar takes your turns action and as such you will be locked out of melee attacks that turn BUT remember that first spell AoA? Armor of Agathys does more then just give you bonus tHP it alls deals damage to attackers eny time you take damage equal to the original strength of the tHP provided. So if upcast to the 6th level AoA gives 30 tHP which means any time you take damage the attack will take 30 Cold Damage. Fire Shield which was mentioned above works in a very similar way and STACKS with AoA! Fire Shield deals 2d8 damage (either Cold or Fire, you choose when casting) to anything that attacks you, it lasts for 10 turns and does not require Concentration so its perfect to cast as the very first action when entering combat before Wildshaping. When used together anytime you take damage it will be reduced by 10 (or 11 with the armor listed) and then the attack will take 2d8+30 Cold damage. This effectively works perfectly with Goading Roar and low AC (13-14) but can actually be abused. If you walk into an enemies range and then choose to walk out of their range they will always perform an Attack of Opportunity which means by simply walking you can deal 2d8+30 damage to multiple enemies and the Arcane Ward will help ensure that yout tHP from AoA will stay active (once you lose all tHP you will also lose the +30 Cold Damage).
