Lucito Hexadin

Start out as Paladin for Heavy Armour Proficiency, then go one level in Warlock Hexblade to get Bind Hexed Weapon, which allows you to attack using Charisma. You’re gonna be shite at level 1, but things will pick up at level 2. You could start as Warlock and then respec later to avoid this, but it is just for the first level.

I’ve aimed the build to focus on two-handed Weapons using the Fighting Style and the Great Weapon Master Feat. This should give you some pretty hefty damage, which will scale throughout the game. Would be really good to get Auntie Ethel’s Hair in Act 1, so you can bump your Charisma to 20, otherwise you’re gonna be awkwardly stuck around 19 Charisma.
If you want to be a bit more defensive, then let me know and I can come up with a version that has a one-handed weapon and a shield. Your heavy armour should keep you relatively well protected though.

Item-wise then you can pick whatever you feel like really. Can consider things which give you extra movement speed/mobility (also why I picked Wood Elf for you), and stuff like the Birthright hat for extra Charisma is gonna boost your everything.

Combat-wise, then you can pick between several spells and tailor your playstyle there. The simple version is just to ensure that you have Hex up early and then go smack enemies with your weapon. Burn your Paladin spells on Divine Smites, especially when you get a crit as the smite damage will also be doubled then.
