Karlach (Companion) | Wildheart Barbarian | Monoclass | Cephalopocalypse

This build is by Cephalopocalypse. He does really in depth videos but there is no repository for them anywhere. The video can be found here.

This build actually deviates from the video. My goal for my first playthrough is to have every companion play as their default classes to the end. Cephalopocalypse adds 4 levels of Fighter for Great Weapon Fighting, Champion (for better critical chance) and Action Surge.

Alternate Gear

• Gloves of Dexterity
• Any Medium Armor that does not cap Dexterity bonus

Playstyle

Tiger Heart attacks multiple enemies. Great Weapon Master ()GWM) increased damage procs on all targets. Due to multiple targets being struck at once, odds of Critical Hits are higher to proc the extra attack from GWM.

Elixirs of Bloodlust, or Potions of Speed are good. Elixirs of Hill Giant Strength can be leveraged to lower Strength to 8 during a respec and use the stats elsewhere (and pick other Feats, Savage Attacker, Alert, Athletics).

Poisons are good for your weapons.
