Ingoria

Once a Sword Dancer of Eilistraee and covert agent of the Order of the Umbral Veil, Ingoria Valoryn devoted her life to The Dark Maiden. Through her faith she became one of Eilistraee’s hidden blades, infiltrating Lolthite houses to rescue the imprisoned and to sow rebellion where hope was forbidden to bloom, a beacon of Eilistraee’s light to the lost.

But even the brightest faith can dim. Under the light of a full moon, drowning in blood and loss, the silence of her goddess was deafening. Nightmares came without end, and through them, something older than the gods began to whisper. When she awoke, her sight was veiled in shadow, the moon’s light eclipsed by The Mother of Serpents. Light became pain; shadow became truth, her purpose redefined to strike at the heart of The Cult of the Absolute.

Then the nautiloid descended, tearing her from the world she knew. When she awoke her memory was gone and only fragments remained to guide her. Now she moves through the world as if walking through the remnants of a dream, every strike of her blade guided more by instinct than memory, a grace inherited from another life.

Her presence both draws and unsettles. Her strange dark gaze fixed on things unseen, as though she perceives what others bury too deep to name. Beneath her composure lingers the ache of someone piecing together who she was from what remains. Darkness and nightmare spill from her when emotion runs high, forces she must learn to master before they consume her and her world entirely.
