21 beams per turn using Haste, Terazul, Elixir of Bloodlust, and Helm of Grit. You’re welcome.
Using Drow Half-Elf because I’m running Devil’s Sight to hide in magical darkness, but the build itself works with just about anything.
Recommend having an Evocation Wizard or other elemental caster in the party to pair with Hound of Ill Omen.
Actor feat optional, could be replaced with Spell Sniper if you’re using the hag’s hair on this character. In any case, just get CHA to 20.
Honour Mode:
Helm of Grit grants you three extra beams of Eldritch Blast, but greatly hinders your survivability. Paired with the Risky Ring, you get a glass cannon that’s awesome on your turn, and slightly less awesome when your enemies finally get to attack.
This is slightly mitigated with the GOOLock/Reverberation combo. Knocking your enemies prone while applying Frightened on a crit effectively skips their turn, but CRITS AREN’T GUARANTEED!
Recommend Birthright (Sorcerous Sundries) for an alternative headgear that is less likely to send you right back to the main menu. 15 blasts per turn isn’t too shabby.
Dark Urge Origin:
POTENT ROBE IS KEY TO THIS BUILD! If you want to run this on a Durge, make sure all camp events have already been triggered before crossing the river in Act 1, then knock out Alfira before next long rest to replace her with Quil Grootslang.
SAVE THE TIEFLINGS IN MOONRISE! Talk to Lakrissa when Alfira is in her proximity – there’s a bug where she doesn’t give you the quest rewards if you talk to her on her own.
Best for a Redeemed Durge. Happy blasting ^_^
