Destroyer

Raiden the Destroyer

Once, Raiden was not a man so much as an outcome. A Dark Urge given arcane form, a Drow shaped into a living catastrophe. When he walked, cities trembled. When he fought, storms answered. Destruction was not his choice—it was his nature.

That is what makes his redemption terrifying.

Raiden does not seek to become weaker. He seeks to become responsible.

Blue draconic power coils through his blood like living lightning, amplifying every spell into something apocalyptic. Tempest cleric rites grant him authority over the storm itself—thunder that answers prayer, lightning that strikes with divine sanction. And beneath it all, divination sharpens his mind, letting him glimpse outcomes before they unfold. He does not guess. He calculates annihilation.

In battle, Raiden is a walking eradication event. Lightning tears through the field, thunder collapses formations, and enemies vanish in flashes of blue-white ruin. He does not overextend. He does not panic. Every spell is chosen for maximum consequence. When he commits, the battlefield ceases to exist as it was moments before.

Yet for all his power, he is painfully deliberate. Heroic, but never sentimental. He saves as many as he can—because he knows better than anyone what unchecked force looks like. When forced to choose between a clean future and a bloodless present, he chooses the future and bears the cost alone.

Among allies, Raiden is distant but dependable. Among enemies, he is final. There is no escalation after him—only absence.

They call him Raiden the Destroyer.
Not because he revels in ruin…

…but because when the greater evil must be erased, the world requires something that can end it—completely.

He is not just powerful.

He is power, restrained by will.
