Black Light Sorcerer

The Black Light Sorceror uses Fighter’s Action Surge and Sorceror’s Quickened Spell to allow for the use of Black Hole, Create Water, and a lightning spell of your choosing – all in a single turn! Combined with the Tempest Cleric’s Channel Divinity, this combination allows for extremely reliable high total damage on multiple enemies. Additionally, this build manages to stack 5 resistances (with Darkfire Shortbow) and can be played through without respec.

Early on, you will want to use a ranged weapon with your 14 Dexterity and dumped Strength/Wisdom. We take Archery Fighting Style to support this. Play more like a support, as these will be your toughest levels. At level 5, you can finally start taking advantage of your high Charisma and start casting spells. Alternatively, just respec at 5. Typical Lightning Charge, Reverberation, and/or Radiant Orb gear is appropriate for this build until you get to Act 3. However, since we are build on a Fighter chassis, we can wear Armour. We take Mage Armor at level 12 as we switch to Robes of the Arcane.
