Rauh Base, is a harsh and desolate lowland region below the verdant Ancient Ruins of Rauh with only a couple of dungeons hidden among its ruins. Though few in number, these dungeons offer fierce battles, valuable rewards, and glimpses into the history of this once-mighty fortress. This guide covers both dungeons in Rauh Base and what to expect inside them. We also have a dedicated Rauh Base Walkthrough to assist you in your travels.
Rauh Base Dungeons
Taylew’s Ruined Forge is the first dungeon in Rauh Base, offering Smithing Stones, Smithscript weapons, and no boss fight. The main challenge comes from Stone Golem Smiths and Lava Slimes, with a massive metal pipe acting as both an obstacle and a path. Key loot includes the Smithscript Axe, Greathammer, and Shield, all guarded by Golem Smiths, some of which will throw boulders for massive damage. A lever puzzle inverts the pipe, allowing access to deeper sections.
At the end, players find the Taylew Golem Smith Ashes and an
Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone at an altar, marking the dungeon’s final reward. Though it lacks a boss, Taylew’s Ruined Forge is packed with valuable upgrade materials, making it a crucial stop for those looking to enhance their gear.
- Unique Rewards:

- Death Knight’s Longhaft Axe
- Cerulean Amber Medallion +3
Scorpion River Catacombs is a treacherous dungeon filled with Death Blight traps, Basilisk Eyes, and hidden dangers lurking around every corner. Despite the name, no scorpions await you—just plenty of Lion Imps, Cannon Imps, and spike traps that can crush the unwary. Basilisk Statues cast Death Blight-inducing gazes, which can be countered using the Black Knife’s Blade of Death or Lamenting Visage Torch. Progress requires careful platforming, dodging falling ceilings, and fighting ambush-prone Imps. A hidden Imp Head (Lion) helm and Knight’s Lightning Spear can be found along the way.
The second floor introduces mobile Basilisk Eyes, forcing players to navigate carefully while facing off against sorcerers and cannon-wielding Imps. A bridge drop shortcut leads to an Ancient Dragon Knight’s Cookbook, but beware of lurking enemies at every turn. The final stretch brings you to Death Knight, a returning foe with enhanced moves and brutal reach. Defeating him rewards the Death Knight’s Longhaft Axe and Cerulean Amber Medallion +3, making the ordeal worthwhile for those who survive its deadly traps and suffocating blight.
