  • Unique Rewards:
    • Greatjar
    • Greater Potentate’s Cookbook [11]
    • Demi-Human Swordsman Yosh

Belurat Gaol, found in the Gravesite Plain, is a sprawling and mysterious dungeon that descends deep into the earth, offering new insights into the origins of the Living Jars. While shades and jar-like enemies known as the Jar Condemned populate its winding corridors, the dungeon’s true challenge lies in its verticality—requiring careful platforming across chains and hanging jars to navigate its depths.

Amid the eerie atmosphere, players can uncover unique treasures such as the Greatjar, the Greater Potentate’s Cookbook [11], and various Hefty Cracked Pots. The final trial awaits behind a fog gate, where the Demi-Human Swordsman Yosh wields his deadly glintsword in a battle that concludes the gaol’s descent.

The Dragon’s Pit is a treacherous dungeon that links the eastern Gravesite Plain with the Jagged Peak, packed with skeletal dragon-like creatures and culminating in two major boss fights. The path through is littered with Smithing Stones, making it a worthwhile stop for upgrading weapons, but the real rewards come from defeating the Magma Wyrm, which drops a Dragon Heart and an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone.

Beyond the wyrm, a leap of faith leads to the dungeon’s final trial: the Ancient Dragon-Man, a tougher version of the foe found outside. Defeating him rewards the Dragon-Hunter’s Great Katana and grants access to the path leading to the Jagged Peak, making this dungeon both a challenge and a crucial stepping stone in the region.

  • Unique Rewards:
    • Electrocharge
    • Ancient Dragon Knight’s Cookbook [1]
    • Death Knight’s Twin Axes
    • Crimson Amber Medallion +3
    • Ash of War: Blinkbolt
    • Stone-Sheathed Sword
    • Sword of Darkness

The Fog Rift Catacombs are a sprawling, treacherous dungeon filled with deadly spike traps, nimble Lion Imps, and a new breed of spellcasters who bombard players with rebounding projectiles. From the moment you step in, you’ll be navigating these hazards while hunting for key items like Ancient Dragon Knight’s Cookbook [1] and Great Ghost Glovewort. Expect tight corridors where Cannon Imps and sneaky ambushes will test your reaction time, forcing careful movement through its labyrinthine depths.

The dungeon’s most unique challenge lies in its riding spike ceilings, which players must use to reach hidden paths and secrets. Mastering these moving platforms leads to valuable finds, such as the Ash of War: Blinkbolt, and an altar of darkness, where the Stone-Sheathed Sword can be transformed into the Sword of Darkness if you already possess one. The journey also winds through a flooded sewer, home to lurking slimes and deadly sorcerers, with the Electrocharge incantation as a worthwhile reward for those who explore its depths.

At the end of the catacombs lies its greatest challenge: the Death Knight, an aggressive warrior wielding twin axes and infused with lightning. Defeating him grants the Death Knight’s Twin Axes and the Crimson Amber Medallion +3, making this grueling dungeon well worth the effort.

The Ruined Forge Lava Intake is a treasure trove of smithing stones and powerful weapons, guarded by the imposing Stone Blacksmiths and dangerous Lava Blobs. These enemies are formidable, but their weak spots—marked by glowing red gems—make them vulnerable to well-placed attacks. Navigating the forge requires careful movement through lava-filled chambers, where numerous upgrade materials can be found. Early on, players can pick up the Greater Potentate’s Cookbook [13].

Exploring deeper into the forge, players can obtain the Smithscript Dagger, a unique throwing weapon, by either defeating or outmaneuvering a blacksmith. The dungeon’s highlight is its lever-controlled pipe, which, once lowered, serves as a bridge to the forge altar. Here, players can claim the Anvil Hammer and an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone—a fitting reward for braving the molten hazards. Unlike most dungeons, the Ruined Forge Lava Intake has no boss encounter, but its vast reserves of smithing materials make it a prime farming location for upgrading weapons.

  • Unique Rewards:
    • Bloodfiend Hexer’s Ashes

Rivermouth Cave is a dark, damp network of tunnels where wolves lurk in the shadows, waiting to ambush unsuspecting travelers. The deeper you go, the more sinister the atmosphere becomes, with a river of blood leading into a cavern packed with bloodfiends. Their leader, the hex-wielding Chief Bloodfiend, stands at an altar surrounded by his kin, making a frontal assault perilous. While minor materials litter the cave, the true prize lies beyond the mist: the Bloodfiend Hexer’s Ashes, a grim trophy from the cave’s brutal final encounter.

  • Unique Rewards:
    • Milady
    • Loyal Knight’s Cookbook
    • Scadutree Fragment
    • Moonrithyll’s Knight Sword
    • Wolf Crest Shield
    • Glintstone Trio
    • Ash of War: Wing Stance
    • Remembrance of the Twin Moon Knight

Castle Ensis stands as a formidable gateway to Scadu Altus, its moat and towering walls guarded by Troll Knights, Messmer Footsoldiers, and Glintstone Sorcerers. The atmosphere is heavy with Carian influence, evident in the magical warriors and artifacts found throughout. Within its battlements, you’ll find powerful loot, including the light greatsword Milady, the Loyal Knight’s Cookbook, and the Scadutree Fragment, all tucked away in hidden storerooms or precarious rooftops. The castle’s winding paths, guarded bridges, and treacherous cliffs make every step toward its heart a calculated risk.

At the peak of Castle Ensis, Rellana, Twin Moon Knight awaits—an imposing figure wielding both fire and frost in a relentless ballet of destruction. Before facing her, explorers can claim the Moonrithyll’s Knight Sword, the Wolf Crest Shield, and the Ash of War: Wing Stance by navigating secret chambers and dangerous heights. Defeating Rellana grants the Remembrance of the Twin Moon Knight, cementing Castle Ensis as one of the most rewarding and challenging fortresses in the Shadow Realm.
