Hyetta

A blind NPC that leads you towards the Frenzied Flame, and will aid you should you embrace the Three Fingers.

While most of Hyetta’s disquieting questline deals with explaining the lore and ideology behind the Frenzied Flame, it is well worth doing, especially if you are pursuing the Lord of Frenzied Flame ending or using Frenzy incantations. It not only features some of the juiciest dialogue but also rewards the player with the Frenzied Flame Seal and Frenzyflame Stones if they choose to become the Lord of the Frenzied Flame.

How to Complete Irina/Hyetta’s Quest

Speak to Irina just after crossing the bridge leading into the Weeping Peninsula. Complete her very brief quest if you choose to, as it will lead to that Irina (who shares a model, and presumably a body, with Hyetta) being killed.

In Liurnia, Hyetta will appear very close to the Lake-Facing Cliffs Site of Grace. She will ask for a Shabriri Grape, which you should give her to advance her quest. She will reward you for this kindness with the As You Wish gesture.

There are three places to obtain Shabriri Grapes, and you will need all three to complete Hyetta’s quest. They are as follows:

Just after Godrick’s throne room at the end of the Stormveil Castle legacy dungeon, one will be sitting next to a spirit NPC.
In the Purified Ruins in Liurnia, behind an entrance blocked by wooden boards.
Dropped by Edgar, who can be fought at the Revenger’s Shack in Liurnia is Edgar and Irina’s quest was completed in the Weeping Peninsula. Edgar can also be killed earlier, at the Weeping Peninsula, to obtain this Shabriri Grape.

Hyetta will move to the lake-facing-side of the Purified Ruins in Liurnia, where she will ask for another Shabriri Grape. Give it to her.

There are three places to obtain Shabriri Grapes, and you will need all three to complete Hyetta’s quest. They are as follows:

Hyetta will move to near the Gate Town Site of Grace in Liurnia. She will once again ask you for a Grape. Once you give it to her, she will ask what they truly are. Tell her that they are actually eyes, and then reload the area and exhaust her dialog.

Hyetta will move to the Bellum Church in Liurnia, where she will be over her aversion to eating eyeballs and ask you for a Fingerprint Grape. There is only one place to acquire such a grape: you will need to go to the nearby Church of Inhibition and kill Festering Fingerprint Vyke, who will drop the Fingerprint Grape (as well as Vyke’s War Spear and a Furlcalling Finger Remedy). Give this Fingerprint Grape to Hyetta, who will disappear from this location, having moved to the Frenzied Flame Proscription.

WARNING: Embracing the Three Fingers and becoming the Lord of the Frenzied Flame has far-reaching consequences, causing Melina to abandon you and forcing you into the Lord of Frenzied Flame ending unless you jump through the many hoops required to use Miquella’s Needle at Dragonlord Placidusax’s arena.

Hyetta will not be reencountered until you come to the deepest part of the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds, the Frenzied Flame Proscription. Hyetta will be just outside the room leading to the Three Fingers, and will only have a hint at how to access it at first.

In order to complete her quest, and to gain access to the Lord of Frenzied Flame ending, you must embrace the Three Fingers. In order to do so, you must remove all armor and interact with the locked door. Before doing so, make sure to consider the warning above.

After becoming the Lord of the Frenzied Flame, exhaust Hyetta’s dialogue again, who will reward your devotion to madness by leaving behind a Frenzied Flame Seal and five Frenzyflame Stones when you reload the area.
