Starfield is Now Available in Early Access

If you are among people who snatched the Digital Premium, Premium, or Constellation Editions of Starfield, your 5-day early access begins now! If you took our advice a couple of days ago and did a preload for the game, all you need to do is go through the unpacking process to be able to play. For those of you who didn’t, the download is 116.3 GB, so make sure you have enough space before you start it!

If you are seeing “Coming Sep 6, 2023” message despite having purchased one of the Premium Editions, restart Steam! If you are having this or any other unpacking issues, restarting the client once (or twice, in some cases) seems to resolve most of these problems.

This particular error should be quickly resolved with a restart

For players with Standard edition, the release day remains to be September 6th. Good news is, that’s plenty of time to purchase an SSD drive, in case you missed that the game lists it as a minimum requirement!
