Serpent’s Embrace

You grew up worshiping the Great Serpent. Grav jumping provides a temporary boost to health and oxygen, but health and oxygen are lowered if you don’t continue jumping regularly – like an addiction. (Can’t be combined with any other religion trait.)

Effects

Passively lowers your health and oxygen by 25.
After a Grav jump, increases your health and oxygen by 25 for 4 hours.

Uses

During the “Go to Venus” stage of “The Old Neighborhood” quest you encounter a group of Va’ruun Zealots in space. While they’re normally hostile, the Serpent’s Embrace trait gives you a dialogue option to “distract them with a litany of the faith,” turning them docile.
