On the latest episode of Night City Wire, they wrapped up the stream with a look at the system requirements for Cyperpunk 2077.
Minimum Requirements:
- OS: Windows 7 or 10, 64-bit
- DirectX: Version 12
- Processor: Intel Core i5-3570K or AMD FX-8310
- Memory: 8GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 780 3GB or AMD Radeon RX 470
- Storage: 70 GB HDD, SSD recommended
Recommended Requirements:
- OS: Windows 10, 64-bit
- DirectX: Version 12
- Processor: Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD Ryzen 3 3200G
- Memory: 12GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB or AMD Radeon R9 Fury
- Storage: 70 GB SSD
Overall, the recommended requirements are not as high as could be expected for a game released in 2020. Even builds that are a few years old now should be able to get up to or close to the recommended requirements. That being said, it stands to reason that even the recommended requirements won’t let you run the game on higher settings, considering the size and scope of night city.
If your computer can’t handle even the minimum requirements, you’ve got just two months left to get the creds together to upgrade your rig before Cyberpunk 2077 releases. Good luck, samurai.
Seems like we should be able to get decent performance at 1080p with a budget setup which is awesome.
