You Should Update Your Video Card Drivers Before You Play Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 Behind The Scenes W Cd Projekt Red - Featuring New Rtx Gameplay new nvidia drivers

Night City is a huge place, and it will take some hardware muscle to truly display it in all its glory. CD Projekt Red’s QA Lead Åukasz Babiel tweeted today letting players know about new Nvidia drivers:

The latest GeForce Game Ready driver has some specific support for Cyberpunk 2077, including ray tracing and performance-accelerating NVIDIA DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling), as well as support for G-SYNC compatible gaming monitors.

AMD also recently released new drivers specifically for Cyberpunk 2077 and the Radeon RX 6900 series.

Given what we know about performance issues, grabbing the new drivers for your card before launch seems to be a wise choice. Just one more thing to do while you wait (assuming you’ve already preloaded)!
