Tessellated Shard Lagniappe – Alone in the Dark

The Tessellated Shard is a collectible item in Alone in the Dark. These collectibles, called Lagniappes, are parts of larger sets that unlock bonus information or other secrets. This particular Lagniappe is found in the back half of the game, and is easily missed. In this guide, we’ll show you where you can acquire the Tessellated Shard Lagniappe.

Tessellated Shard Lagniappe Location

The Tessellated Shard Lagniappe is in the attic, which isn’t accessible until halfway through Chapter 4. When players reach the attic (Image 1), they will want to first go to the back right corner, where there is a small room (Image 2). Be aware that there is also a puzzle in the attic that you won’t want to solve until after you’ve grabbed the Lagniappe, because it will take you away from this area. Inside the small room, next to a statue bust on a table is the Tessellated Shard (Image 3).

Tessellated Shard Set and Reward

The Tessellated Shard is a part of the Prisoner of Ice Lagniappe set. There are two other pieces in this set for players to find:
