The Syringe Lagniappe in Alone in the Dark is a collectible item that’s part of a set to unlock “Forbidden Knowledge”. Players will discover it in different ways, depending on which character they’re playing. The information below will reveal its location, the other pieces in its set, and what the set unlocks.

Syringe Lagniappe Location

The Syringe Lagniappe is acquired in the Grand Parlor, when players reach it in Chapter 2. This area is only available after exiting the Hateful Mound. To access the Grand Parlor, go up the servant stairs, through the mezzanine, and down the circular stairs (see image 1 below). For Emily, you can grab the Syringe off the floor after a cutscene plays; Edward will just find it on the floor without a cutscene (see image 2 below).
