Mummified Cat Lagniappe – alone in the Dark

The Mummified Cat is a rather gross Lagniappe in Alone in the Dark. Lagniappes are collectible items that players can find to reveal hidden secrets in the game. However, to find out the secret, players must collect all three pieces in a Lagniappe set. This is very likely the first Lagniappe that you’ll find for the Beast of Burden set, but if you couldn’t find it, this guide is here to make sure you do so.

Mummified Cat Lagniappe Location

The Mummified Cat Lagniappe can be found in the Kitchen Garden during Chapter 2. This poor cat corpse will be sitting in a shallow grave next to the hose puzzle outside (Image 1). If you’re playing as Emily, there will be a cutscene that provides a little more context as to how the kitty got there. Regardless of the character, though, just look for the dirt spot next to the statue, and you’ll find the feline mummy (Image 2).

Mummified Cat Set and Reward

The Mummified Cat is a part of the Beast of Burden Lagniappe set. There are two other pieces in this set for players to find:
