Dog Collar Lagniappe – Alone in the Dark

The Dog Collar Lagniappe in Alone in the Dark is the last needed collectible in its set. While most of these collectible sets in the game unlock information, the Dog Collar helps to unlock something much better. Read below to discover the Dog Collar’s location, the other pieces in its set, and what the set unlocks.

Dog Collar Lagniappe Location

The Dog Collar Lagniappe is found in the Drawing Room, during Chapter 2 or later on. You will be able to open the door to the Drawing Room after exiting the Hateful Mound, and acquiring the Palette Knife to unblock the door (see image 1 below). With the door open, you can find the Dog Collar on the opposite side of the room on the lower level of a console table (see image 2 below).

Dog Collar Set and Reward

The Dog Collar is a part of the Lost Children Lagniappe set. There are two other pieces in this set for players to find:

Unlike the vast majority of Lagniappe sets, which unlock forbidden knowledge or hidden objectives, this set unlocks the Shotgun Cabinet for its reward. The shotgun is in the small parlor, which is just outside the Drawing Room (see image below), in the Small Parlor. If you don’t want the shotgun, and you just want to read the hidden text, then click on the drop-down.
