Sheet Music Lagniappe – Alone in the Dark

What might be the hardest-to-find collectible in Alone in the Dark is also perhaps its most serene. Or perhaps somber, if you believe the title: Dido’s Lament. This guide explains the location of the Sheet Music Lagniappe, what other pieces are in the set, and the bonus text it unlocks.

The Sheet Music Lagniappe is located in Lafeyette Cemetary in Chapter 2. You will be able to grab the Sheet Music right after you grab the third Icon (“The Sacrifice”) from the crypt (Image 1), by looking for a small crawl space to your left just before you exit the underground area (Image 2).

The Sheet Music is a part of the Dying with Dignity Lagniappe set. There are two other pieces in this set for players to find:

This set is all about making peace with the Dark Man, and what he has taken (and given) the Hartwood family. The extra text tells you about a blessing that protects against evil (by becoming a part of it). Coincidentally the same symbol that Ruth associates with the Dark Man.

This set is required in order to wash away the paint from Jeremy’s Painting in Dr. Gray’s office in Chapter 4, a required step for a secret ending and the “Radical Acceptance” achievement.
