Ashes of Indigo Lagniappe – Alone in the Dark

This guide will help you add the Ashes of Indigo to your Lagniappe collection in Alone in the Dark. Often associated with the occult and supernatural, the indigo hue is as close as we can get to octarine on our spherical world. And so, the Ashes of Indigo Lagniappe, when combined into a set of three, will allow us to see a common thread between the cults infesting Derceto thanks to a bit of Forbidden Knowledge.

You’ll be able to pick up the Ashes of Indigo Lagniappe when exploring Derceto during Chapter 4. Once you’ve unlocked the 1st Floor Hall with the key you get following the cutscene with MacCarfey in the Sitting Room upstairs, make your way to the Empty Room (Image 1). As you enter, turn to your right, and you’ll see the Ashes of Indigo by the window (Image 2).
