Baldur’s Gate 3 Deluxe Edition Now Available for Pre-Order

Baldur’s Gate 3 is a massive experience, absolutely filled with loot. Well, not you can have some of that loot-finding fun in real life with the “Deluxe Edition” of Baldur’s Gate 3, which is available for pre-order as of today. This Deluxe Edition, which is due to be delivered during “Q1 2024” for all platforms (including Xbox, despite that version’s release still being upcoming) is absolutely chock-full of physical goodies, from the original soundtrack to a world map (and much more).

Want some more exciting news? In a day and age where physical Deluxe editions almost always go for triple-digit prices, with some getting up to $300 or more (in fact, the “Collector’s Edition” of Baldur’s Gate 3 had just such a package), this Deluxe Edition for Baldur’s Gate 3 — the top-dog for the Game of the Year — costs only $79.99 on all platforms. This is only $20 more than the base game and only $10 more than buying the base game with just the Digital Deluxe Edition DLC (the content of which comes with this physical Deluxe Edition). This isn’t an advertisement, but we can recognize a good deal when we see one.

This one is quite a haul

As for what comes with the physical Deluxe Edition, it is quite a haul. The Deluxe Edition for Baldur’s Gate 3 for all platforms will come with the following 7 physical items, in addition to all of the content from the Digital Deluxe DLC:

  • The Original Game Soundtrack on 3 CDs
  • A double-sided world map of the Sword Coast
  • A set of 32 branded, “iconic” stickers
  • 2 Patches: The Brand of the Absolute and the Flaming Fist
  • A Mind Flayer Poster with the game’s logo
  • The Game Disc or Discs for the appropriate platform
  • A collectible box in the style of one from the original 2 games, to put it all in.

In case you’ve been living in the Underdark, Baldur’s Gate 3 is one of the biggest games of the year, and is looking like a shoo-in for numerous accolades including the coveted GOTY, so the fact that the Deluxe Edition comes with this many goodies at such a good price (relatively speaking) is notable, continuing Larian’s trend of goodwill and consumer-friendly practices that has kept Baldur’s Gate 3 fans (mostly) giddy since the game’s launch back in August.

If you are looking forward to bringing Faerûn to reality as much as I am, you can pre-order the Deluxe Edition for PC, Playstation, or Xbox here.
