A Level 3 Swashbuckler Rogue has access to the following abilities and features (in addition to their Rogue features):

Swashbuckler Progression

Level 3

  • baldurs gate 3 fancy footwork Fancy Footwork
    • If you make a melee attack against a target, that target can’t make Opportunity Attacks against you for the rest of your turn.
  • baldurs gate 3 rakish audacity Rakish Audacity
    • You gain a +2 bonus to Initiative rolls. This scales with your rogue level.
    • You no longer need Advantage to trigger Sneak Attack as along as you are within 1.5m/5ft of the target and don’t have Disadvantage.

Level 4

  • baldurs gate 3 dirty trick flick o the wrist Dirty Trick: Flick o’ the Wrist (Bonus action)
    • Flick your weapon at a target and possibly Disarm them. Gain advantage on your next attack.
  • baldurs gate 3 dirty trick sand toss Dirty Trick: Sand Toss (Bonus action)
    • Toss a handful of sand at your enemy and possibly Blind them. Gain Advantage on your next attack.
  • baldurs gate 3 dirty trick vicious mockery Dirty Trick: Vicious Mockery (Enchantment cantrip)
    • Insult a creature: it has Disadvantage on its next Attack Roll. Gain Advantage on your next attack.

Level 9

  • baldurs gate 3 panache Panache (Action)
    • Roll a Persuasion check to beguile a humanoid, who must contest it with an Insight check. Enemies who fail gain Panache: Disadvantage; others who fail become Charmed.
    • Doesn’t work on beasts, constructs, elementals, monstrosities, plants, or undead.
