Level 3

  • Subclass Spells (Always Prepared)
  • Gathered Swarm – Chose a swarm of nature spirits to bond with. An ability for the chosen swarm can be used once per round after landing an attack. You can change your choice each time you level up.

Swarm Options

  • baldurs gate 3 legion of beesLegion of Bees – You gain a swarm of bees that fights on your side.
    • Once per round, the swarm can assist you in one of three ways after you attack an enemy: it can attack and deal additional 1d6 Piercing damage, push the enemy 5m/17ft away from you (Str saving throw), or teleport you 5m/17ft.
  • baldurs gate 3 cloud of jellyfishCloud of Jellyfish – You gain a swarm of jellyfish that fights on your side.
    • Once per round, the swarm can assist you in one of three ways after you attack an enemy: it can attack and deal additional 1d6 Lightning damage, Shock your enemy (Con saving throw), or teleport you 5m/17ft.
  • baldurs gate 3 flurry of mothsFlurry of Moths – You gain a swarm of moths that fights on your side.
    • Once per round, the swarm can assist you in one of three ways after you attack an enemy: it can attack and deal additional 1d6 Physic damage, Blind your enemy (Con saving throw), or teleport you 5m/17ft.

Level 7

  • baldurs gate 3 writhing tideWrithing Tide (Bonus action + Writhing Current charge)
    • Condense part of your swarm into a mass that lifts you up. Gain a flying speed of 9 m / 30 ft and become unaffected by surface effects.
  • Writhing Currents: 3
    • Used to cast Writhing Tide. Replenished on a Long Rest.

Level 9

  • Subclass Spell (Always Prepared)
  • Writhing Currents: 4
    • Gain 1 additional Writhing Currents charge

Level 11

  • baldurs gate 3 mighty flurry of mothsMighty Swarm
    • Your swarm has grown stronger. The swarm’s regular attack now deals 1d8 damage, its special attack has one additional feature, and teleporting with your swarm now also increases your Armour Class Armour Class for the rest of the round.

Mighty Swarm Improvements

  • Damage bonuses are 1d8 (from 1d6)
  • Teleport grants +2 AC for one turn
  • Additional specific improvements:
    • baldurs gate 3 legion of beesLegion of Bees – Knockback also causes enemy to become Prone on a failed saving throw.
    • baldurs gate 3 cloud of jellyfishCloud of Jellyfish – Shocking Sting also causes enemy to become Disarmed on a failed saving throw.
    • baldurs gate 3 flurry of mothsFlurry of Moths – Blinding Swarm also Slows enemy on a failed saving throw.
