Map of Caribbean Lagniappe – Alone in the Dark

The Map of Caribbean is one of the more frustrating collectibles in Alone in the Dark, because you will see the container that it resides in, but can’t open it until later in the game. Luckily for you, we’ve made a guide to make it easy for you.

The Map of Caribbean Lagniappe is located inside the globe in the Sitting Room upstairs, but you can’t open it until Chapter 4. One of your objectives in Chapter 4 is to snoop around Dr. Gray’s office. After you’ve gained entry, you’ll find the missing France piece that opens the globe on a side table (Image 1). Then head upstairs to the globe in the Sitting Room (Image 2). Use the France piece to open the globe and find the Map of Caribbean inside (Image 3).

The Opera Playbill is a part of the The Pirates of Pontchartrain Lagniappe set. There are two other pieces in this set for players to find:

If you recall Perosi’s room back in Chapter 2, then it’s likely that you have a good idea who used to own this Lagniappe set. When all pieces are collected, you can read some bonus text. It always feels more rewarding to do it yourself, but in case you don’t want to, you can read it by clicking on the drop-down below.
