Johnny Silverhand, the radical rocker boy, builds a relationship with the main protagonist, V over the course of Cyberpunk 2077. This relationship changes and morphs through the main story, making for an ultimately climactic and satisfying conclusion to the game. In this comprehensive guide, we’ll show you how to get Johnny to 70%, and the dialogue options to get there. The conversation options are organized by which mission they appear during.
Automatic Love
After completing the Automatic Love mission in Clouds, Johnny will try to talk to you. Be sure not to take the omega blockers, and instead finish out the conversations. Choose these dialogue options in the order they appear:
“Asked you- what the hell do you want”
“For some ideal? Or to square a grudge?”
“Mikoshi-what’s that, exactly?”
“Following”
“Me and Mikoshi-how’re we linked at all?”
“Arasaka- how you plan to destroy it this time?”
Stand up and leave
Transmission
After finishing the mission with the Voodoo Boys and accessing Johnny’s memories of Alt Cunningham, he’ll talk to you outside the church. Choose these dialogue options in the order they appear:
“Why’re we talking about this?”
[Sit] “Seem to know a lot about my past”
“Scared I’ll lose myself, stop being me”
“What do you want from me, really?”
“Got a clear goal. Like I do”
“Man, do you go around in circles”
“Yeah”

While interrogating Anders Hellman, choose these dialogue options in the order they appear:

“Your tech works, congratulations, now get it out of me.”

Out in the middle of nowhere, the doll will arrive with a message from Hanako Arasaka. Select the dialogue options in the order they appear:

After the dialogue, go outside the motel room and start talking to Johnny. Select the Dialogue options in order they appear:
“Back again? Got more to spew about the Arasakas?”
“I’m dyin’ “
“Why’d you bring me here?”
“Musta been nice.. to have control of your faculties again?”
“Thanks for Helping”
“I’ll, uh, get you back someday”
“Think I’m gonna die soon”
Open the compartment
“Why you given’ them to me?”

“So I tell rogue everything?”
“Tell me what you’re planning.”
“OK, I’ll give you control.”
Chipin’ In
Now that Johnny is in control, follow the dialogue options:
Order a Tequila Old Fashioned
When talking to Cassius Ryder “The other”
With the stranger who has the pills, select the right
When the bouncer refuses to let you see Rogue, select “[PUNCH]. Fuck how I missed this”
Head to Johnny’s grave and Inscribe his initials, saying, “Let’s do something about that”.
“The guy who Saved My Life”
“Nah, fucked that up too”
“What do you want from me?”
“OK. But as second chances go, this is your last. I refuse to be that naive.”
“You were a real dick in the beginning.”
“When you said you let down your friends…”
“Smasher biz really got to her”
“Yeah, I’ll call Rogue”
Blistering Love
Johnny is in control yet again. While talking to Rogue, follow the dialogue options:
“How’d you imagine this date going?”
“I like the Rogue of 2077”
“Do anything not to lose you”
“Only thing that matters is I came back to you”
“[Kiss] More than I expected”
Holdin’ On
After the date with Rogue, meet Johnny by the North Oak Sign, talk to Kerry and follow the dialogue options:
“You wanna bring Samurai back?”
“Ok, let’s do it.”
“Cool, I’ll talk to nancy”
A Like Supreme
After the comeback Gig of a lifetime, speak with Kerry and ask him if he wants to do an encore gig.
Nocturne OP55N1
This is it, the final curtain. At this point in time, you and Johnny are chooms, with no regrets. He suggests storming Arasaka Tower through the front door. Select the following dialogue options:
“Let’s hear this plan.”
“[Attack Arasaka Tower] Means goin’ out with a bang –I like it.”
This will trigger the secret “Don’t fear the Reaper” ending, in which V goes out with a bang and lives on as a Night City legend.
