Overview

The RAM Upgrade is a great piece of Cyberware for anyone that wants to use hacks and quickhacks. This piece will passively increase your RAM recovery rate, while giving you some extra RAM to work with.

How to Get RAM Upgrade

The RAM Upgrade is easy to obtain early on, as it can be purchased at any Ripperdoc. The tier you can purchase it at will increase at every 10 levels.

Best Uses for RAM Upgrade

The RAM Upgrade is made to be used with high Intelligence Builds that focus on frequently using hacks and quickhacks. As this does require a Cyberdeck Cyberware for your Operating System to have any use, it won’t have any use for builds that don’t use hacking much.

High Intelligence builds will get extra use out of this Cyberware, as the Attunement effect gives you a small bonus to all damage with each point invested.

Build Combinations

The Memory Boost Cyberware will pair nicely with this to further help RAM recovery, while Data Recycler, Feedback Loop, Optimization, Embedded Exploit, Speculation, and Overclock are all Perks (found in the left and center trees of Intelligence) that will help stack with the Cyberware to keep your RAM high.

In the same two trees, you can pick up Finisher: Live Wire and Siphon. This will make your Monowire an alternate way to quickly recover RAM on top of the Memory Boost’s effect.
