Attribute Attuned: Technical Ability Attuned Effect: +0.5 Armor per Attribute Point
Overview
The Newton Module is a great Cyberware if you have other Cyberware with active effects. It will allow you to use them much more often when neutralizing enemies.
How to Get Newton Module
The Newton Module is easy to obtain, as it can be purchased at any Ripperdoc. The tier you can purchase it at will depend on your character’s level at the time.
Best Uses for Newton Module
Since the Newton Module is meant to boost any other Cyberware with an active effect, this is a very versatile piece that can be used in many builds, as even builds not using a lot of Cyberware will still use an Operating System with an active effect.
The Attunement effect gives an extra bonus for high Technical Ability builds, giving them a small boost to Armor for each point that’s invested.
All Cyberware with Cooldowns
To understand all of your options, you might want to take a look at all of the Cyberware with cooldowns in the game:
Builds that invest in the center tree of Technical Ability will especially get good use out of this, as they can equip more Cyberware that will have a Cooldown. If you learn Perks like Extended Warranty and Cyborg, they can work together to greatly reduce the time that your active effects are down!
The combination of the Newton Module and RAM Reallocator could be a very powerful combo for Builds that go all in on Intelligence and hacking. With the Reallocator instantly restoring almost a quarter of your RAM instantly, being able to take advantage of this more often will greatly increase your hacking capabilities.
For builds that like to slow down time, combining this with Cyberware like the Synaptic Accelerator, Kerenzikov, and Revulsor will help with allowing you to slow time more frequently.
If you like to be more reckless with your playstyle (particularly with melee weapons or shotguns), you can pair it with Countershell to help keep its Mitigation effect up, and with Second Heart (reducing a massive 300 second cooldown) to give you more frequent chances to escape death.
For a stealth focus build (particularly if you’re going through the middle tree of Cool), pairing this up with the Optical Camo will help keep your low visibility active. You can further augment this by taking advantage of the Creeping Death Perk in the center tree of Cool.
