Overview

The NeoFiber is a great piece of Cyberware to keep you alive. Not only does it increase the chance of you Mitigating attacks, but it also boosts Mitigation to reduce more damage!

How to Get NeoFiber

The NeoFiber is fairly easy to obtain, as they can be purchased at any Ripperdoc after level 20. The tier you can purchase them at will increase at every 10 levels.

Best Uses for NeoFiber

As the NeoFiber’s purpose is flat damage reduction, this can be used in any build. However, builds that are primarily in short or melee range of enemies may get more use out of it, as they tend to take more damage.

High Reflex builds will get some extra use out of this Cyberware, since it will give a small increase in Crit Chance for each point invested.

Build Combinations for the NeoFiber

The Dorph-Head Perk will stack well with the NeoFiber (you can find it in the center of the Body tree), since the increased damage reduction from the Cyberware will make the Perk more effective when it’s active. If you use Shotguns, LMGs, and HMGs, the Don’t Stop Me Now Perk effectively gives the same effects as the NeoFiber (the main difference being that the Perk only works when you’re under 33% Stamina) — this means you can use both to amplify the effects.

If you’re more of an explosives user, you can take Pyromania and Heat Shield will help increase your Mitigation Chance, allowing you to take advantage of the NeoFiber’s increased Mitigation Reduction more often.

Surprisingly enough, this Cyberware works quite well for stealthier players also, as most of the Perks in the center of the Cool tree increase Mitigation Chance. In addition, they can all work together with the Blind Spot Perk to significantly increase the time it takes for you to be detected while crouched.

I'm a huge gamer who especially loves the Final Fantasy series. I will play just about any game, especially if it has anything resembling a Dragoon.
