The Memory Boost is very helpful for all of your hacking needs, letting you use them more. It will cause you to restore RAM any time you neutralize an enemy.

How to Get the Memory Boost

The Memory Boost is easy to obtain early on, as it can be purchased at any Ripperdoc. The tier you can purchase it at will depend on your character’s level at the time.

Best Uses for Memory Boost

The Memory Boost is made to be used in high Intelligence builds that make frequent use of hacks and quickhacks. As this does require a Cyberdeck Cyberware for your Operating System to have any use, it won’t have any use for builds that don’t use this for damage.

The Attunement effect gives an extra bonus for high Intelligence builds, giving them a small boost to all damage dealt with each point invested.

Build Combinations for Memory Boost

As this Cyberware allows you to restore RAM quicker, this will work with just about any Perk or Cyberware that will improve your hacking, as this will let you take advantage of them more. The Arasaka Mk.4 Cyberdeck works particularly well with the Memory Boost, as it will recover another 5 RAM for Takedowns.

The Camillo RAM Manager, RAM Upgrade, and RAM Reallocator Cyberwares will compliment Memory Boost well, as they also focus on recovering RAM in different ways. In the left and middle trees of Intelligence, Feedback Loop, Data Recycler, Optimization, Embedded Exploit, Speculation, and Overclock will all stack with the Memory Boost to keep your RAM high. If you’re using a Monowire, Finisher: Live Wire and Siphon will additionally help with RAM recovery.
