Ex-Disk

Overview

The Ex-Disk is a great Cyberare to use if you want to spam quickhacks. It will cause cause your quickhacks to upload faster, while also giving you more RAM, allowing you to use more hacks.

How to Get Ex-Disk Cyberware

The Ex-Disk is easy to obtain once you level a bit, as it can be bought at any Ripperdoc after you reach level 20. The tier you can purchase it at will depend on your character’s level at the time.

Best Uses for Ex-Disk

The Ex-Disk is made to be used with high Intelligence builds that want to use a lot of quickhacks for damage. As this does require a Cyberdeck Cyberware for your Operating System to have any use, it won’t have any use for builds that don’t use this for damage.

The Attunement effect gives an extra bonus for high Intelligence builds, giving them a small boost to all damage dealt with each point invested.

Build Combinations for Ex-Disk

Since this Cyberware will make you upload quickhacks faster (and use up RAM quicker), having Cyberware and Perks that make your RAM generate faster will help counteract you draining it quicker.

Memory Boost, RAM Upgrade, Camillo RAM Manager, and RAM Reallocator will be helpful with this, as they can all help recover your RAM faster, on top of giving you more to work with.

On the left tree of Intelligence, Feedback Loop, Data Recycler, Counter-A-Hack, Queue Hack_Root, and Queue Mastery will keep your RAM high. Additionally, if you take Finisher: Live Wire, you can combine a Monowire with your quickhacks to constantly restore RAM with finishers.

In the center tree, Optimization, Proximate Propagation, Embedded Exploit, ICEpick, Speculation, and Overclock will help keep your RAM high by increasing its regen rate and reducing costs. If using a Monowire, Siphon will help with this as well, making all Monowire attacks recover 0.5-1 RAM.

Ex-Disk can work well with other Perks to spread damage as well. Copy-Paste, Queue Prioritization, and Spillover will help you spread your quickhacks faster on top of the quicker upload speed.
