Overview

The Blood Pump effectively replaces the standard inhaler as your primary Health Item. While it heals slightly less initially, it gives some extra healing over time, causing it to heal more overall.

How to Get Blood Pump

The Blood Pump is easy to obtain, as it can be purchased at any Ripperdoc. The tier you can purchase it at will increase at every 10 levels.

Best Uses for Blood Pump

As the Blood Pump acts as a replacement Health Item, this Cyberware will be useful of literally any build. This item will be even more effective in high Technical Ability builds, as it will passively increase the efficiency of your Health Item (in this case, the Blood Pump itself) for every point invested.

Build Combinations for the Blood Pump

A great Cyberware that pairs well with the Blood Pump is the Biomonitor. Not only will it this cause the Blood Pump to automatically activate when you get under half health, it will improve its healing as well. As this Cyberware is effectively a Health Item, any Perks that boost them will combine well with this piece.

On the left side of the Technical Ability tree, there are several Perks that will let Blood Pump charges recover faster, allowing more uses of it. Glutton for War and Borrowed Time will allow you to instantly restore portions of a Health Item charge, while First Aid, Health Freak, and Pyromania will increase the recharge speed of them.

Also on the left side of the Technical Ability tree, Transfusion will increase the healing of the final charge of Blood Pump, while Field Medic will allow you to use it quicker when needed. Additionally, in the middle of the Body tree, Dorph-head will cause the Blood Pump to briefly give you mitigation whenever it’s used.
