Black Mamba

Overview

The Black Mamba has a fairly niche but powerful effect. It will cause enemies to take almost no damage from your Poison damage, but will cause them to take notably more damage from all other sources while they’re Poisoned.

How to Get Black Mamba

The Black Mamba is fairly easy to obtain, as they can be purchased at any Ripperdoc after level 20. The tier you can purchase them at will increase at every 10 levels.

Best Uses for Black Mamba

While the use for this Cyberware can be pretty niche, it is easy to make use of, as you simply need a way to apply Poison on your enemies, such as Toxic weapons.

High Reflexes builds will get some extra use out of this Cyberware, as it will slightly increase your Crit Chance for each point invested.

Build Combinations for the Black Mamba

The most simple way to be able to use the Black Mamba would be to simply equip any Toxic weapon — use it to apply the Poison on your enemies, then swap to your primary source of damage to take advantage of the Cyberware’s effects. This could also include Arms Cyberware that are Toxic or Toxic Grenades.

Perhaps to best combination, however, is combining the Black Mamba with the Contagion and Overheat quickhacks (once they reach Tier 4). Contagion will allow you to not only spread Poison, but will cause Poisoned enemies to explode if they’re burned. Overheat will apply of version of burn, instantly causing this explosion. The damage of this combo is greatly boosted thanks to the Black Mamba.
