Overview

The Bioconductor is a great Cyberware for people who want to do more damage with their quickhacks. While it gives you less RAM to work with, the trade-off is that you will be able to deal Critical Hits with your quickhacks.

How to Get Bioconductor Cyberware

The Bioconductor is easy to obtain, as it can be bought at any Ripperdoc. The tier you can purchase it at will depend on your character’s level at the time.

Best Uses for Bioconductor

The Bioconductor is made to be used with high Intelligence builds that focus on quickhacks for damage. As this does require a Cyberdeck Cyberware for your Operating System to have any use, it won’t have any use for builds that don’t use this for damage.

The Attunement effect gives an extra bonus for high Intelligence builds, giving them a small boost to all damage dealt with each point invested.

Build Combinations

While the tradeoff for the Bioconductor is having less RAM to use, there are plenty of other Frontal Cortex Cyberwares and Perks to help offset the loss.

The following Cyberware will give you additional RAM:

  • Memory Boost – 1 Max RAM
  • Mechatronic Core – 2 Max RAM
  • Self-Ice – 2 Max RAM
  • RAM Upgrade – 2 Max RAM
  • Camillo RAM Manager – 2 Max RAM
  • EX-Disk – 5 Max RAM
  • RAM Reallocator – 2 Max RAM

Memory Boost, RAM Upgrade, Camillo RAM Manager, and RAM Reallocator will especially be useful, as they can all help recover your RAM faster, on top of giving you more to work with.

The left side and center of Intelligence have plenty of Perks to help keep your RAM high, and give you some more RAM to work with.

On the left tree, Hack Queue and Queue Acceleration will give you more RAM, while Feedback Loop, Data Recycler, Counter-A-Hack, Queue Hack_Root, and Queue Mastery will keep your RAM high. Additionally, if you take Finisher: Live Wire, you can combine a Monowire with your quickhacks to constantly restore RAM with finishers.

In the center tree, Optimization, Proximate Propagation, Embedded Exploit, ICEpick, Speculation, and Overclock will help keep your RAM high by increasing its regen rate and reducing costs. If using a Monowire, Siphon will help with this as well, making all Monowire attacks recover 0.5-1 RAM.

I'm a huge gamer who especially loves the Final Fantasy series. I will play just about any game, especially if it has anything resembling a Dragoon.
