Leather is an element in crafting recipes, and can be harvested from animals by using a Knife or by bringing animal carcasses to a 
Skinning Bench.
Required Tool to Harvest: 
Stone Knife or better
- Carrying an animal to a Skinning Bench and processing it there yields significantly more leather (and other elements) than skinning it with your knife.
