Water – ICARUS

Water is the resource prospectors tend to worry about the least — until they don’t have any. Thirst can kill an unprepared prospector as surely as a storm or a wolf pack.

Basic Rainwater Purifier	1	Completely fills Water Meter	Stores 5,000. Only fills via rain, producing Filtered Water. Uses Coal for Fuel.
Rain Reservoir	2	Completely Fills Water Meter	Stores 100,000. Only fills via rain. Can be used to melt Ice into water. Can also be used to fill containers like Waterskins.
Wild Berry		+4 Food, +2 Water	Harvested from Berry Bushes
Waterskin	2	+40 Water	Stores 1,000. Can be filled at any water source. Slowly loses water over time.
Sponge		+25 Water	Stores 500. Also an ingredient. Slowly loses water over time.
Canteen	3	+50 Water	Stores 5,000. Does not lose water.
Thermos	3	+50 Water	Stores 5,000. Can be filled with hot drinks like Hot Tea, Gorse Tea, Hot Cocoa, and Hot Coffee.
Shengong ‘Hulu’ Canteen	Orbit	+50 Water	Stores 6,500. Orbital tech.
Larkwell Martinez Heated Canteen	Orbit	+50 Water	New Frontiers Only. Stores 6,500. Converts Cool Water into Warm Water when filled (raises body temperature). Orbital tech.
Beer	3	+40 Water, +125 Max Stamina, +100% Stamina Regen, Consumes 1 Space in Stomach	Requires a Glass Bottle to create.

How to Fill Water Containers

With a Waterskin or other drinking container in your hand (i.e., equipped to the quickbar and selected), stand in front of a water source and Press [F] to fill your equipped container.

How to Drink Automatically

Requires a filled container. Open your Inventory by pressing [I]. Find the Water slot to the right of your item grid, under your Oxygen and Food slots (it has the Water meter directly next to it). Click and drag the container into the slot.

Your character will now consume periodically top off your Water meter in a way that doesn’t waste the contents.
